On wedding day when all the ladies are getting their hair and makeup done, nails perfected, perfume spritzed...... let's not forget the GUYS! We want to celebrate their prep and attention to detail too!

What is more Vermont than maple syrup? It tastes delicious on absolutely everything and makes a unique wedding gift. Gift bottles can be added to guest welcome bags, a reception table or used as seating assignments. Check out Sugarbush Farm in Woodstock or Baird Maple Farm in Chittenden.
An arbor is the perfect way to cap-off our creek backdrop for your ceremony. There are a lot of ways to decorate it, here’s a little inspiration....
How does one choose? Go with your gut (pun intended). If you want to be traditional, cake it is. Or how about the fun addition of a Ben & Jerry's ice cream cart? Pies, cupcakes, donuts or cookies... when it comes to treats, there are only right choices!
The last thing a couple wants on their wedding day is rain, but a well prepared couple is a happy one. If your plans are remotely outdoors related, have a rain plan.
We work closely with our couples in case of such an event, but you should also have a plan with your vendors as well. Your vendors work as a team and they rely heavily on those plans, so be sure to keep everyone in the loop. If rain is in the morning forecast your team will help you make that call and they will fall back on the plans that you have created.
While no one can predict the weather, especially in New England, if there's an 80-100% chance of rain throughout the day, your best option is to make the call early. This will give us and your vendors time to put PLAN B into action. It will also give you piece of mind, knowing the decision has been made and you can now focus on what's really important, having fun!

We always feel lucky when Trish of Pittsfield Garden Center is a vendor at one of our weddings. She always arrives with a big smile and carefully selected basket or an old fashioned wooden box containing all of the wedding party's flowers. It's wedding magic :)
Trish loves flowers and really puts a lot of thought into her craft. From the initial planning stages to seeing your floral vision come to life, you will always be in excellent hands.

If you haven't guessed by now, it's no surprise that we are big fans of Trish from the Pittsfield Garden Center. We were looking through photos from last season and just had to post a few more. Her arrangements and eye for detail is outstanding. Many times, long after the wedding day is over, we hear from our couples and find out how fond they are of Trish and how they made their wedding experience so special. Look no further.

You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here...for the next four weeks anyway!
Thank you Killington Mountain for another great season and even though it's almost the end, we've had so many amazing memories. Nothing beats the FIS Ski World Cup, the 100 Day Club, and Skiing the Beast with family and friends!
Come stay with us, ditch your cell phone, and get outside. Spring, summer, fall or winter, find out why everyone loves Vermont!
