Who to tip? How much to tip? Those are two questions that we are commonly asked by almost every couple getting married at Trailside.

As wedding vendors, we are all in the hospitality industry. Hospitality is defined as "the relationship between a guest and a host, wherein the host receives the guest with goodwill, including the reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers".

We recommend the vendors that we do because they all go above and beyond this definition. If you feel the same way, tipping is a wonderful way to show them that the work they've done and effort they've put forth exceeded your expectations. In addition, most of the vendors that we work with are small business owners to whom tipping has a greater impact.
