Relaxing and warm, the Trailside Inn is perfect for couples, families or groups looking for rooms near Killlington ski slopes. We offer a wide variety of accommodations to suit every taste and budget. You'll love our updated rooms and will feel right at home in our comfortable and cozy common spaces. Also, The Trailside Inn provides accessible lodging with a roll-in shower.

Sleeping up to 92 guests, we have 37 cozy bedrooms total on property.  We have 28 private rooms in the main inn. In addition, we have a separate 9 bedroom guest house with 2 apartment units, The Barn and The Loft.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Roaring fires in our Great Room are often a nightly thing. We want you to join us, share stories, a bottle of wine and make new friends every time you visit with us in our Killington Lodging. We do the same in the summer at our fire pit, just ask! We have a fantastic sledding hill on our property. You are encouraged to borrow a sled from us and give it a try! We also rent snowshoes – please ask at the front desk.

​We had a lovely stay at the trailside this weekend. The inn has comfy guest rooms with all of the essentials and a wonderful shared great room. The fireplace was kept going all day and there is a large tv, movies and tons of games. Bring a bottle of wine to enjoy by the fire with family and friends! I would highly recommend staying here!

I have had the pleasure of staying at the Trailside Inn three times now - in the fall for the beautiful foliage, in the spring, and most recently in July. All three times were perfect. The knowledge Josh and Ann have about the area is amazing - such a great resource for their guests - and the inn itself is very cozy and comfortable. I think that more than anything I really valued the clear commitment Josh and Ann (and their kids!!!) demonstrated to making the experience of each and every guest perfect. Thank you!

Ann & Josh make guests welcome the second you enter their inn. They have a large, well lit common/family area off the check-in desk with a roaring fireplace and plenty of couches. Perfect for reading, conversation, or just relaxing with friends. The rooms are modern country … clean, bright, wide-plank floors and new bathrooms. Wonderful spot, caring/friendly innkeepers, and reasonably priced. The style of this place is very Vermont. Attractive wood flooring and lacquered hardwood communal breakfast tables with heavily-bearded innkeeper to match. Innkeeper was very friendly and gave us great advice on where to ski. Breakfast was basic but had the essentials. Rooms are simple but cute. It has a young vibe and did not feel to us like a mere remodel without soul.

​We had a fabulous stay at the Inn -- Josh and Ann are fabulous hosts, very welcoming and provided lots of tips about fun things to do in the area. The common room was great to hang out in, also loved the continental breakfast with local coffee, bagels, yogurt, etc. The rooms are perfect -- clean and simple. We will definitely be back!

​I loved the energy at this place. The common area was always buzzing with skiers and riders. It was fun gathering in front of the fire and swapping stories about our ski adventures from that day or telling stories of past powder days.  If you like people and the VT Inn experience, the Trailside will be a great fit.

The owners, Josh and Ann, are ultimately what makes this place so good - friendly and helpful - they make you feel like you are just staying in a big lodge you've all rented together as friends. Our first, but not our last, visit!

​I really enjoyed staying at the Trailside Inn. It was homey and welcoming, which made the stay very relaxing. The fireplace in the main lodge was always lit and made the atmosphere wonderful! It was a great place to hang out with friends and relax. The rooms were clean, simple and cozy. It happened to be a lovely warm day in late winter, so we were able to walk along the golf course that is adjacent to the Inn. It's a stunning golf course which snakes up the mountain!
