Every ski & ride fan should check out James Niehues' "The Man Behind the Maps" book. With over 200 hand painted ski resorts, it might be the perfect sit-by-the-fire coffee table book!
After a few new bumpers, felt and a lot of youtube video's, our game room pool table is looking pretty spiffy!
The game room needed some more games, so we started building! Hope you like :)

Maple Open House Weekend is one of the best times of the year! When the sap is running in the spring we love to visit Elm Grove Farm, Charron's Family Maple, Baird Farm, and Sugarbush Farm, just to name a few of our favorites.
If you've never had a sugar shack experience, the sugarhouses are FILLED with steam of sugary goodness. Workers are bustling to keep the fire stoked and the boiling process at peak temperature. Visitors can sample hot maple syrup on Vermont snow and even entice you with homemade cider donuts, apple pancakes, beer waffles and specialty candies! It's a true Vermont experience you don't want to miss.
Have a favorite spot you like to visit, please share :)
If you haven't by now be sure check out The Wild Fern in Stockbridge Vermont. Rick Redington and the Luv, good food and good company, it's the only place for a Thursday night out!

There's nothing better than hitting the open road with no plan, stumbling along, and finding all the unique nooks and crannies of each town as you go.
We were traveling through Woodstock just as the snow started picking up and the Middle Bridge just looked so picturesque... all the fluffy white snow and barn board, it still felt like the holidays.
Come stay with us, take some time from your busy life to wander and discover what makes Vermont so special!
