** With the recent uptick in Covid cases due to the Delta variant, we are now requiring all unvaccinated guests be masked while inside of our common spaces. ** Vermont's full reopening plan can be found here. Our staff will be following all universal, event and cross state travel guidance. Many of our couples are requesting additional steps to ensure a stress-free event and only positive memories. They may be requesting your vaccination status or requiring a negative test prior to attending (if unvaccinated). As our couples' wishes are our first priority, we will hold to any additional measures requested. Please do the same. Further details can be found on their wedding websites and invitations. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, please do so. If at any point during the event you have concerns, please find one of our staff members for help. What else are we doing? Staffing: All of Trailside's staff, that interacts with guests, will be fully vaccinated prior to the start of our wedding season. Our staff will be following any mask mandates or may continue to wear a mask as a personal preference. Cleaning: We are following CDC guidance for cleaning. There will be a minimum of 24-hour gap between room stays. This means your room will be vacant the the night prior to your arrival. We will NOT be entering rooms after check-in for room service. We are happy to do a towel swap for stays longer than 2 nights should you need clean towels. Breakfast: We will be offering our continental breakfast daily with lodging reservations. We are continuing to have individually wrapped items and more "grab and go" type of options. We will also be providing a self-serve coffee and tea station in our Great Room. Breakfast timing is based on the event and available on our schedule board when you arrive. It is your responsibility to know travel guidelines and plan accordingly at the time of booking. Because of COVID, things will be a little different for the season. We have to adjust our policies based on CDC guidance and to comply with Restart Vermont. Hopefully, these changes will keep our guests and staff safe along with keeping Killington open for the longest season in the East! Cleaning: - We are following CDC guidance for cleaning & increased frequency of sanitization of high touch surfaces. - There will be a minimum of 24-hour gap between room stays. This means your room will be vacant the the night prior to your arrival. - We will NOT be entering rooms after check-in for room service. We are happy to do a towel swap for stays longer than 2 nights should you need clean towels. Reduced Occupancy: - We will be operating at a reduced occupancy for all days to lower the overall number of guests staying onsite and give more room in our common spaces. - Our Great Room & Game Room are open for guest use. Masks: - Vermont does have a state-wide mask mandate. Masks are always required in all common spaces, including during check-in. Please don't make us ask, just wear your mask! Breakfast: - We will be resuming a breakfast service starting on December 23. - We will have individually wrapped grab & go options. - We are providing a self-service coffee & tea station in our Great Room. - For weekdays, breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 9:30. - For weekends & peak weekdays, breakfast will be served from 7:00 to 9:00. The Guesthouse (Barn/Loft): - Occupants of our Guesthouse (Barn and Loft) will NOT have access to the main inn or its amenities through the 2020 - 2021 Ski season. Breakfast and coffee service will NOT be provided to these units. This is our 4th consecutive Best of Wedding on The Knot & puts us in the Knot Hall of Fame! This has been awarded to less than 3% of all the venues in the US. We are truly grateful. We are re-open and you should come visit! We are excited to welcome guests back to Trailside.
